Household Help

Hi there,

We are looking for either an individual or couple to come and live in to help with running a fun family of 4 from the 17th March to the 12th April 2019.

We live in a large house on 7 acres of bush that backs on to the Blue Mountains National Park. The village is very pretty with a number of great cafes, tennis courts, 50mtr pool and even a cinema. There is also a stunning 200mt natural swimming hole that backs onto our property.

The job will entail;

Cooking evening meals
Helping 11yr old and 13year olds prepare lunches
Light cleaning work - cleaning kitchen/sweeping vacuuming etc
Helping with manual jobs around the property - sweeping outside, moving wood
picking up kids from activities
Food shopping
Doing loads of washing in the machine/hanging them out/in, ironing


We are looking for someone who uses their initiative, has a good sense of humour and a happy demeanour and willing to work hard. You will also need a valid drivers licence and have been driving for at least 2 years.

Pay will be $160 for the week plus food and accommodation with 4 hours work each day. Any time agreed over that will be paid at $18 per hour. You will have access to wifi on a limited basis i.e. no large downloads or long skypes due to limited data.

We are an eco friendly household and have enjoyed hosting travellers from around the world to help them experience life with an Australian family.
