Fun Energetic Au Pair June 13 Start

We are a happy, friendly family with 3 children - Sebastian (8), Samuel (6) and Jemima (4). Both parents work and are relaxed, easy going and communicative.

Start date 22 June, preferably for 6 months or longer.

You will have meals, your own room and bathroom, TV, WiFi and Netflix, use of car (manual). Our light and airy house is recently renovated and is awesome! We’re 700m from Gordon train station and a short train ride to the city and also close to beaches.

Only working 4 days/wk, all weekend off. See timetable attached for some details of the role. Babysitting agreed in advance, about 2 nights/month.

Most important to us is that you genuinely love young children- playing Lego, kicking a ball, drawing pictures, running around at the park – and any other ideas you might have! They’re a happy bunch, happiest outside and we like to encourage that. We'd like you to be bright and happy and willing to talk to us about how you're going and how we can help.

We would like you to help with drop offs and pick-ups from school/childcare and some kids activities (automatic family car, but will need drivers licence) as well as looking after the boys during school holidays. Also, you’d be packing school bags and lunches, washing clothes, basic housekeeping (picking up toys etc nothing major - we have cleaners who come every 2 weeks) as well as simple kids' meals - just helping us out with the day to day tasks!

We have plenty of au pair experience, having hosted au pairs for 4 years now. We love all our previous au pairs and are in contact with them still. We can put you in contact with them to discuss the family and the role if you like. We really like our au pairs to feel comfortable with us and part of the family - you'd be welcome to all family occasions and to spend your time off with us as well (if that's what you want, of course!).
