Job Description
Wanted for start ASAP someone with ability and experience in training Dressage and handling foals and handling yearlings using kind horsemanship methods, training them in hand to lead respectfully and safely, accept being washed and having legs handled and being trimmed by farrier assisting him by holding them to be trimmed safely and teach them to wear rugs.
Min contract is 6 mths . Will consider 3 mths.
Do not apply if you have no experience handling foals and yearlings teaching them to lead etc.
I am not in right post code to do 88 days second year visa farm work sign off but will consider sponsoring the right person on a skilled Visa.
There is world class set up under cover 24 x 60 arena and under cover rubber walled safe round pen both with lights .Yards and Stables.
Generous salary package includes fully furnished accommodation on farm and use of car for local shopping .

Coldstream Park is a long established smaller scale horse stud breeding Warmblood horses with a talent for dressage, eventing, and showing.
Set on 164 acres of rolling hills amongst gorgeous vineyards and cattle and sheep properties it is a beautiful place to live. an hour or so from snowfields in winter and less than an hour to Melbourne city by train access from close by metropolitan township of Lilydale. Lilydale is 5 minutes drive from the farm and has everything you need and is bursting with interesting cafes and all modern facilities and shops.
The stud usually breeds 6 to 12 foals a year and employs 2 to 4 people depending on the time of year. There is lovely renovated and fully furnished self contained accommodation on farm in either of 2 cottages each with one bedroom and a 2 bedroom apartment which is next to the main house. Use of car for local erands is possible.
