Diesel Fitter - Field Service Technician

Forklift Solutions is a small family business with less than 10 employees, located in the Tropical North of Australia in Darwin. We specialise in the Sales, Hire and 24/7 Service of all materials handling equipment including forklifts, container lifters and pallet jacks and construction equipment such as telehandlers, backhoes, excavators and skid steers.

We are the Northern Territory dealer for Linde, JCB and Baoli equipment. We are seeking a qualified Diesel Fitter / Mechanic to join our team.

The Position:
As part of our team of Field Service Technicians, you will be responsible for delivering a high level of service to our customers on a wide range of materials handling, farm and construction machinery covering preventative maintenance, scheduled services, fault finding and emergency breakdowns in and around the Darwin Region.

To be considered for this role you must have the following:
Mechanical Trade Certificate (Forklift Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic)
Current C Class Drivers Licence
Current Forklift Licence Servicing and Diagnostic experience gained in Materials Handling or similar industry
Ability to work unsupervised Highly motivated
Strong communication skills
Ability to read Electrical and Hydraulic drawings
Ability to pass a full medical including drug and alcohol screening
Proven experience in a similar role
At least 2 references
