Civil/ Water Industry Labourer

We are a family run business for over 25 years that have a great team work ethic, we work in a high risk and a very challenging 24/7 environment, where no two days are the same, we have recently been successful in an ongoing contract for a major water supplier offering 24/7 coverage on their assets, which can be repair, renew or upgrade.

Our business is experiencing a controlled growth spurt and we have a full ongoing order book.

The Ideal Candidate

·You MUST be reliable, punctual, hardworking and preferably have knowledge of civils and plumbing have a good attitude towards safe working procedures.

·Evidence of working in a high risk environment and around services.

·Strong attitude to OHSE.

·You must be able to pass regular random drug and alcohol testing as we ourselves and our clients have a zero tolerance policy towards drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

·The work can be physically demanding so you must be in good physical health to be considered.

·This role will have the potential to progress for the right candidate; career opportunities are possible if you show the required qualities.

·Experience in a similar role, with demonstrated results.

·Represent the best interests of the company at all times, maintaining a high standard in verbal and written communications and personal presentation, and taking care of company property.

Essential requirements of the role include:

·MR Clean Driver’s License – Desirable.

·Plant Tickets(Excavator/Bob Cat) – Desirable.

·Basic Traffic Management– Desirable.

·Spotters Ticket– Desirable.

·First Aid Accreditation

·The ability to understand, interpret and read Dwgs

·The ability to effectively prioritise workload and manage your time to meet business expectations and deadlines.

·The successful candidate will undertake a fit for work medical including advanced drug and alcohol testing.
