Are you a friendly traveller who wants to experience outback Australia for 6-8 weeks with a fun, laid back family?
During your stay you’ll get to head out and experience mustering cattle, seeing helicopters and motorbikes in action and grab some amazing photos of the red dirt and windmills for everyone back home!
WHO ARE WE?
We’re a family of 6 who live in an outback Queensland town with a fun backpacker community.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Dad heads out to work on the farm during the day, Mum runs a business from home and the kids are busy at school and kindy during the day.
We’re looking for someone to share our home (and probably a glass or two of wine and a few laughs) and help with the daily tasks like doing the washing, ironing and general cleaning.
You won’t need to look after the kids however it’s important you like kids as you’ll be part of the family!
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
We have a comfortable 5 bedroom home which you’ll share with us (and Rex the sausage dog). You’ll have your own space to relax and watch tv in the evening and of course you’ll have your own room.
All meals are provided as well as $250pw pocket money. You’ll be needed for 20 hours work per week (usually 4 hours a day Monday - Friday however we can be flexible with this). You’re welcome to look for other work around town as well.
This work won’t qualify you for a 2nd year visa.
WHEN WOULD YOU START?
WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT US?
We’re happy to give you a reference of another backpacker who’s worked with us so you don’t have to take our word for it!
