Job Description
Nomads Melbourne is a 275-bed hostel in the best location in Melbourne with an up and coming bar in the lobby.
We're looking for a full-time Receptionist/Maintenance to work with us throughout winter. The reception shifts will be from 11 PM to 7 AM on a Friday & Saturday night with the potential to pick up more Reception shifts at any one of our 5 properties in Melbourne. The Maintenance will be 15 hours per week with the potential for more. The successful applicant will have:
A visa allowing them to work in Australia
An ability to work well unsupervised
Be comfortable working alone
Have experience ensuring Guests are being respectful throughout the night
Skilled in being a handyperson or tradesperson
Banter and excellent customer service skills
Previously having worked with a Property Management System or Charts is an advantage
Please note this is a joint position - you will be doing both maintenances throughout the day and receptionist during the night.
