Au Pair Postition In Darwin!!! Live In Required For Late August Start

We are an experienced host family in Palmerston, Darwin looking for our next Au Pair to start with us end of August, all lengths of stay considered. We live 15 minutes from the city and 30 minutes from National Parks and provide plenty of free time for our Au Pairs with generous pay!



We have 4 fun children who will be aged 7, 5 (twins) and 3.5. The eldest is in school 5 days a week. The twins have preschool 3 days one week 2 days the next. The youngest will have school 1-2 days a week. There are some after school activities that they each participate in.



Mum and dad are both shift workers (dad full time, Mum part time) so hours are different every week and may be needed anywhere between 10-30 hours (normally around 20) but we pay the same full time rate for every week regardless of hours worked. These may include weekends, split shifts and nights but there is usually plenty of free time!



Duties are caring for the children while parents are both at work and depending on shift time may include meals, school drop offs/pickups, minor activities, bed times etc we also expect basic child related cleaning.

Because of these requirements we prefer someone who had prior experience with children and fluent english. A drivers lisence with good record is a must. As well as someone who is clean and tidy.



In return we offer our Au Pairs generous salary, own bedroom with queen bed, tv, Netflix etc. family meals and food, and the use of the spare car within reason.
