Live In Aupair Position - Immediate Start!

We are currently looking for our next Au Pair to start immediately, however, we can be flexible with the start date for the right person. We are located in Frankston South/Mt Eliza on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, Melbourne!

*About Us*
Tahlia is an 11 year old only child in Year 6, has competitive Cheerleading practice twice a week, and attends Art School on a Wednesday afternoon!

I am a Paramedic who has returned to work in a COVID response role after having significant time off following 4 x spinal surgeries. My partner Sven is also a Paramedic who works a 4 day on / 4 day off rotating roster.

Due to the nature of shift work, it makes it difficult to care for Tahlia as neither of us have extended family in Victoria; and before/after school care hours don’t suit. We need the help of an Au Pair (you!) to be a ‘big sister/brother’ and mentor to Tahlia whilst maintaining structure and consistency in her life.

We are a super easy going family that is fairly relaxed, especially with the downtime we require from the type of work we do. We like to watch TV shows and movies together, play games, colour in, bike ride, read and honestly just generally chill!

*Expectations* – A GENUINE love of children – Assisting Tahlia with morning and afternoon routines – Assisting Tahlia with homework – Light house duties – Being a big sister/brother and friend to Tahlia – Integration as a valuable family member

*The Role* – Your own room and full board – Food and toiletries – Pocket Money – Work Phone – Car with fuel allowance – Driver’s Licence ESSENTIAL – 2 days off (+ bonus time off around our shifts!)

*A few perks of living with our family* – Experiencing Australian culture – Making lifelong friends and connections – Seeing parts of Australia you wouldn’t normally due to local knowledge! (hopefully we will be able to do more of this as restrictions ease as we genuinely love taking our AuPairs to local places we love!)
