Au Pair

We are a family of 3 with One 8 year old boy (Finlay) to look after. We live in country Victoria in a small town called Boort, which is located 1 hour from Bendigo, Echuca & Swan Hill.

We are a very busy family looking for some help... my husband and I own the local cafe in town which operates 7 days a week and I also work out of town 4 days a week. We are involved with the local football, netball and hockey club and many other sporting and community groups around town!


The role would be roughly 20-25 hrs per week of au pair work (Wed-Sun) completing the following tasks
- Before school duties (getting Finlay ready for school, lunch & bag packed)
- After school (taking Finlay to sporting activities, helping with homework etc)
- On weekends taking Finlay to sporting activities and spending time at home with him
- Occasionally you may need to prepare a meal or help around the house

In return for completing these tasks we would provide
- Own room fully furnished
- Private Bathroom
- Car to use for taking Finlay around and by negotiation can be used for personal use
- All meals - this includes unlimited coffee and anything from our cafe
- “Pocket money” to be negotiated


As Finlay is in school during the day we would also be more than happy to have you work in our cafe if desired.

The following are requirements for the role
- drivers licence
- Working holiday visa
- Kind & caring attitude
- Previous experience with kids would be desirable

We are looking for someone to commence ASAP until the end of October
