Housekeeping

The position of Housekeeper is available in the Central Highlands of Tasmania in the township of Derwent Bridge.
We are offering work in a beautiful location with nature all around and access to the iconic Lake St Clair and its walking tracks including The Overland Track.
Staff accommodation is a fully furnished private room with your own cooking facilities and utensils, fridge, heating and linen. The bathroom facilities are shared. This is located at the local hotel 700m down the road from the property.
Details and Duties:
Cleaning and servicing of accommodation (self-contained)
General cleaning and laundry duties
Outside duties, decks, windows and light outdoor maintenance
Hours vary and include weekends with days off negotiated
An average of 35-40 hours per week but can be more if wanted and is when in the busy season(Nov-Apr).
An hourly rate between $AU22 – $AU27 is paid
Accommodation rent is $AU150pw charged fortnightly
This position is available to start immediately 10 February 2023 and length of stay is negotiable, but at least 4 months minimum preferred. Teaching is done on the job and supported some English is preferred but use of an app is also encouraged and supported.
