Ranger (mandarin Speaking)

As one of two Mandarin Speaking Rangers, you will provide a great experience for our park visitors at our Shipwreck Coast and Hinterland Parks! Being a Ranger means you will be a part of contributing to Parks Victoria's natural values and make sure our natural environment and cultural sites are protected, and help visitors to enjoy and understand parks. You will plan for and deliver park services to enable efficient and effective delivery at your park and contribute to the delivery of your district through your strong work ethic and commitment to your team. You will deliver activities requiring a level of environmental and service expertise, so that you can support the conservation of Victoria's special places. You will be an adaptable and flexible individual delivering ‘on the ground' service requirements and ensuring superior park management services are achieved on a continual basis.

This role will require your commitment to work across the holiday periods and weekends.

To be successful for this role you will need:
•Demonstrated experience in customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
•Demonstrated ability to speak Mandarin
•Certificate or Diploma in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Outdoor Education, Public Health and/or equivalent experience in a similar field
•Demonstrated experience in self-management and working autonomously.
