Job Description

We are a 520 cow dairy farming operation located near Corryong in north east Victoria.
We are currently seeking 1 highly motivated farm hand for short term (417 and 462 Visa) work or ongoing work if required.
Experience would be an advantage however a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a good work ethic will suffice.
Duties will include but are not limited to: Milking and mustering cows, calf rearing and animal handling, fencing and general farm maintenance.
Pay is award wages ($24.80 per hour)plus applicable overtime and penalty rates on an hourly basis and I estimate you will work[phone number removed]hours per week.
We currently work on a 10 day fortnight with a four day weekend every second weekend.
Shared accomodation - in a three bedroom house - is available on-farm at a cost of $75/week/person plus your share of gas and electricity usage.
A manual drivers licence and your own transport are required for the position.
Start date is 7th of December.
Workers willing to stay for more than 4 months would be preferred.

From time to time we require short term workers (417 or 462 Visa - 88 days or more) to fill labour shortages throughout the year.
Duties that are required of our applicants include but are not limited to: Milking and mustering cows, calf rearing and animal handling, machinery operation, maintenance, fencing and general farm duties.
Experience would be an advantage however a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a good work ethic will suffice.
Pay is on an hourly basis and hours may vary between 40-45 hours per week.
Accomodation is available on-farm for up to 3 people, however your own transport would be an advantage as we are a 15 minute drive to the closest town.
Positions are currently limited to 1 person however work and accomodation can be sought in the local area for additional people if required.
We require all applicants to hold a current car licence.
