Are you on a working holiday visa looking to complete your 88 days for your second year visa?
Due to COVID 19 restrictions and our isolation we can only accept applicants from either the NT, WA and SA.

We are a large family owned cattle farm/ranch in northern South Australia 2 hours north east of Coober Pedy.

Each year we have a number of short term projects around the property that require general maintenance (tidy up) on selected buildings, garden areas, water pipe lines and new projects such as cattle yards.

So, we are looking for trades people who have practical (hands on) experience in either welding, carpentry, stonemansory, bricklaying or plumbing.

If you have experience with dairy cows or beef cattle thats even better but please understand that owning a pet, collecting the eggs on grandmas farm as a child or sitting on a horse does not constitute livestock skills.

Clean and comfortable shared 4br accommodation, male & female bathrooms on property with own room, aircon, 20 GB WI-FI, TV, laundry.
Meals are complimentary but alcohol is not.
Great opportunity to save money to assist further travel at a later date.

Wages are based on hours physically worked.
A Flat Hourly Rate (see Note) is applied to the actual hours worked as entered on your timesheet or the option of a Day Rate.
Super Guarantee Contributions are paid on the Ordinary (38) hours per week.
Wages are paid fortnightly via Electronic Transfer.
Note: An Individual Flat Hourly Rate = Ordinary + Hypothetical Overtime + 152 hours of Leave + 17.5% Leave Loading.
Ordinary hours has a starting base as guided by the Pastoral Award 2010

The successful applicant needs to be physical fit with no food allergies or high risk medical conditions. Enjoying outdoor activities and possess an appreciation of unique environments and experiences is also desirable.

We live in a remote area with a very small township 16km away which has a pub, a post office, small kiosk, health clinic and police station. Mail is delivered twice a week.

Applicants with a good sense of humour will always hold you in good stead at the end of a long and challenging day when they pop up.
