Landscape/garden Maintenance/turf Trades Person Needed

Applicants must have relevant experience, trade qualifications along with turf/horticulture diploma favourably considered. The ability to work in a small team and have a strong work ethic. The main responsibility of this position will be to maintain the golf course, sports grounds , gardens and surrounds to the highest possible level.

EXPERIENCED CANDIDATES NEED ONLY APPLY
Your key responsibilities will include:
Use of spraying equipment like backpack sprayer, knapsack sprayer and motorised spraying equipment, calculating rate of application and calibration of chemicals to control weeds, pests and insects.
Operate mowing machines/tractors
Tasks to be carried out in a manner that causes the least inconvenience to customers, staff and the public.
Operate equipment and machinery in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and our operating procedures
Reporting maintenance and repair issues
Perform all tasks within the policies and procedures of the QHSE system.
Other responsibilities as authorised by the Directors or the position's immediate manager.

Ability to work without supervision in a small team.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise whilst always representing business objectives and to meet timeframes
Follow the instructions, direction and procedures for safe and environmentally sustainable work practices.
Property or construction experience desirable.
Desirable:
Cert III or IV in Horticulture (or equivalent)
MR/HR license
CHEMCERT license (or equivalent)
Current Drivers License, MR/HR looked upon favourably
First Aid Certificate
National Criminal History and Working with Children (Ochre Card)
