We want to share our piece of paradise with travellers who enjoy the bush, fishing, boating, horse-riding and hanging out in a special part of the Top End. We have a weekender on 4000 acres of wetland country, bordered by the magnificent Finniss River. The area is famous for barramundi fishing and the property itself has many areas to explore, including rainforest and open swamplands.
The property is 100km from Darwin and 40km from Dundee Beach.
We are looking for travellers (single or couple) who want to stay short or long term, to carry out general maintenance to keep the property neat and in good repair. This is a Help Exchange role, with hours worked in exchange for accommodation and meals to be negotiated. If we get along fine, you can stay extra days after the work is done.
Accommodation is basic but clean, with access to shower, toilet and pool.
Boat, fishing gear and quad bike may be hired when not being used by us.
It’s a bonus if you like horses as we bring our horses when we stay. Trail riding is a possibility for people with basic riding skills.
You need to have your own transport.
Contact Peter and Elizabeth on 0414 987 453.
