Urgent - Au Pair + Stationhand + 2yv + Hourly Pay

We are urgently looking for an enthusiastic, fun person to help on our farm and with our 3 children. Ideally you will able to travel to Kingaroy in the next 2 days.

You will mainly help with our 3 children - 7, 6 & 4 months - it's school holidays at the moment so think visits to the pool, library, shopping centre plus our kids love to help around the farm so there will also be helping with cattle, goats, sheep, chickens, dogs. Kids love to craft, play sport and play board games. You will help with their daily routine and hours each day may vary - some days may be early starts (5am) and include dressing, making breakfast, doing some laundry etc. Other days may be late finishes (7pm) and may include bath, dinner, brushing teeth and getting ready for bed.

There will also be work in various parts of our farm - we farm cattle, goats and sheep plus produce honey commercially from beehives. You will have the chance to experience different parts of these ranging from helping in cattle yards, weighing calves, worming goats, preparing frames ready to go into beehives (putting bare wax into them), extracting honey, painting bee boxes.

There will be lots of variety and we are really looking for someone who can spot things that need to be done without being asked and really be part of our team. In return we offer the chance to earn good $$ and save heaps. Previous Au Pairs have found work at local pubs for extra $$. We will provide meals when you're with the children otherwise you'll shop for yourself. You will be employed and paid as a farmhand which will be eligible for 2YV (we have been getting work and holiday backpackers for 12 years so plenty of experience with that!). You will be paid as a Level 1 farmhand $18.93/hour for a roughly 40 hour week (some variation) with $60 week deducted for accommodation (own room, shared common areas). Penalty rates for weekends. We will provide a car for your limited use.
