3 month, full time, Contract in Port Hedland
A marine organisation is seeking a Contract Site Administrator who is highly motivated and shows initiative.
This opportunity will be based in our Port Hedland office. The responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting onshore operations
- Running errands
- Picking up items and equipment
- Escorting crew to appointments and to the jetty
- Organising quotes for equipment
- Completing purchase orders and filing
- Doing the shopping
- General tidying of the office
In addition to the above the successful applicant will be computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook) and will need an unrestrictive Drivers' license. They will be given a company mobile phone and will need to be a self-starter who has common sense and is intuitive. They should also be able to follow company policies and procedures as well as instructions.
The successful applicant will need to be a current local of Port Hedland and will work 8-5 Monday to Friday. If they are not a current local of Port Hedland, the option of including accommodation in the contract is available. They will also need to complete the required pre-employment process, which includes a medical and drug and alcohol screening.
