Fabulous Au Pair role April 2019 start.
The family lives in the lovely suburb of Northbridge in Sydney’s Lower North Shore. Northbridge is a beautiful suburb with easy access to the CBD (9km) and beaches (7km). It is also close to shopping malls, cafes, restaurants and bars and public transport is readily available with buses a short 2 minute walk away.
This is a fabulous family looking forward to welcoming their first Au Pair to their home – they have 2 gorgeous little boys aged 4 and 2.5 who attend preschool three days a week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday). They are also expecting the arrival of their 3rd boy in May. Both boys love being outdoors, reading books, playing together and helping in the garden.
The family is looking for someone to primarily to help with the older boys and also assist with the newborn from time to time. Main duties will be to help with the morning and evening routines such as breakfast, getting boys ready for preschool, taking and collecting from preschool, helping with dinner, bed and baths, and entertaining the boys on the two days they are not in preschool. There would also be some light household duties and occasional babysitting.
The wife is a paediatric dietician, however will be at home following the birth of the baby, and the husband works in agriculture and often travels with work. They value family time together and often spend time at their farm in the Hunter Valley and their beach house in Avoca, where you are more than welcome to join them.
The family lives in a recently renovated 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house with multiple living areas and an open plan kitchen/living/dining which opens on to a veranda and garden. Your accommodation would be downstairs and you would have a queen bed, Wifi, Pay TV and Netflix and share a bathroom with the boys. You would also have personal use of the car when not required by the family.
The family is looking for someone who is caring, sensible and happy to be part of their family. They are able to help find additional babysitting work with other families if desired and are also willing to provide time for holidays. They are a relaxed family and can be flexible for the right Au Pair.
Hours would be 32 a week – 6.30am-8.30am and 5pm-7pm (Mon, Tues and Wed) and 7am to 5pm (Thurs and Fri). You would have evenings and weekends free.
