This day to day responsibilities for a dental assistant are as follows

Chairside assisting encompassing all facets of general dentistry
Accurately taking clinical notes electronically utilising precision & correct terminology
Ad hoc reception duties as required
Provision of exceptional patient care to a diverse range of clientele
Working with the Practice Manager to ensure the overall patient experience in the practice exceeds their expectations

To be successful for this role you will need:

A minimum 1 year working experience in the dental industry
Have an interest in dentistry and committed to building a career in this sector
Able to keep calm in a fast-paced environment
Quick to learn and quick to work
Great communication skills and able to work in a team
Super organised and time conscious
Thorough knowledge of infection control
Certificate III in Dental Assisting is desirable
Current police and working with children checks will also be advantageous
