Academy HR is currently looking for an experienced Warehouse All-Rounder!
Our client is Asia-Pacific's leading designer and contemporary furniture retailer with five purpose-built showrooms in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.
You will be part of a strong, fun and hard working team in which you will act as a Warehouse All-Rounder. Each day will be exciting and different; you will directly work with customers, clients and colleagues to fulfil daily duties. Some days you may be in the warehouse rotating stock and operating a forklift. Others you may be on the road on deliveries, interacting with customers of different walks of life and providing them with excellent customer service that this client prides itself on.
In summary, duties and responsibilities in this versatile role include:
General warehouse duties
Manual handling and heavy lifting
Preparing customer orders
Pick-ups and deliveries
Client Liaison - Customer Service
Loading and unloading vehicles
Stock control and rotation
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Strong warehousing experience
Be physically fit and capable of moving bulky/heavy objects.
MR License is very highly regarded but not essential
Excellent work ethic
Positively represent the brand
Have excellent communication skills
Be highly reliable and take pride in your safe work practices
Show a high level of integrity, honesty and respect at all times
Be a team player
