We are looking for a Head Chef to lead and manage our kitchen. You will need to be passionate about food and have a willingness to work hard and well within a small team.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Head Chef to join our team. As a Head Chef you will be responsible for managing the operations of the kitchen, with accountability for the achievement of the kitchen's success. The successful applicant will be motivated, have a business framework and will need to demonstrate:
Motivation and initiation in achieving sustainable kitchen success
Ability to implement appropriate systems to ensure the efficient running of the kitchen
Leadership in successfully developing, and delivering through, a small kitchen team
A complete knowledge of a wide range of cooking practices and of safe, hygienic working practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a team environment, and also independently.
Ability to provide an outstanding customer experience.
Great communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of food operations and attention to detail.
Exceptional multi-tasking and organisational skills.
Trade cooking qualifications are essential.
Availability for weekly day, night, public holiday, weekend and split shifts is a must.
