Description:
Mulgunnia is a sheep and cattle holding and is one of the oldest authentic homestead complexes in Australia. I have recently purchased this property and restoring it to its glory days. The homestead was built in three parts 1820's, 1840's and 1850's. It was also a stop over for the Cobb and Co Stagecoach travelling between Bathurst and Gouldburn. This area of the building now has a dance floor, fire place and recreation area. There is a room on the outside of the house built for the Apostle on Horse Back a famous preacher of the day and it is reported that Ben Hall the bushranger visited Mulgunnia as well.
