Job Description
Acme Case is a family owned Crate and Pallet-Making business located in Silverwater. We are seeking Crate / Pallet Makers / Handyman / Carpenters / Framing Assemblers to commence immediately.
This is an ongoing role so if you're looking for a new job to step into, this could be for you! Hours are between Monday- Thursday (7:30am - 4:30pm) Friday (7:30pm - 1:30pm).
We are looking for reliable and hard-working individuals who will hit the ground running and aren't scared of a hard day’s work!
In this role you will be required to work within a fast-paced environment, manufacturing various sized wooden pallets and crates as well as performing some On-Site packing jobs. You will need to be experienced and confident handling Air / Power and Hand Tools eg Band Saws and Nail Guns.
To be successful in this role you MUST meet the following criteria:
Must be confident utilising hand and power tools
Previous experience with timber or wood will be highly regarded
Previous experience as a Pallet/Case Maker highly regarded
Mature, confident and hardworking
Be physically fit and able to work on your feet all day
Must be safety conscious and work well within fast paced environment
Punctual, efficient and reliable
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
Flexible and committed to working within the needs of the business
Drivers licence preferred
Forklift licence preferred
