Job Description

Looking to obtain your 2nd Year Visa??

We are looking for 2 fun, outgoing backpackers to work part-time hours on our farm. We are a small family run farm located in Bigga NSW, running sheep, lambs, cattle & chickens. We have a small egg packing facility on site where we grade & pack eggs daily. We are 25 minutes from the town of Bigga where there is a general store, pub & golf club.

We are looking for 2 energetic, honest, enthusiastic and hardworking people, who are keen to learn new things and are looking for a genuine experience of farm life in Australia. Non-smokers only.

Your duties will include:

Animal management (moving sheep & cattle around, egg collection etc)
Feeding animals and checking water
Property maintenance and fencing
Grading/packing eggs

Due to the remote location of our farm, accommodation (caravan with kitchen & ensuite), food for cooking own meals, & limited WiFi will be provided for a fee (to be discussed with the right applicants).

Own car would be an advantage. Must have a clean, approved licence and ability to drive a manual car is essential (for driving farm vehicles around the property). Tractor experience would also be desirable.

If suitable for the position you will be required to stay for a MINIMUM OF 3 MONTHS.
