Backpackers Wanted

Captain Cook Holiday Village is looking for backpackers to exchange 10 hrs of work/week for free accommodation. We are a caravan park located in the beautiful town of 1770/Agnes Water. You will have a personal cabin to stay in with a double bed and kitchenette. Push bike and other gear will be provided as a bonus. There is an onsite cafe serving fish & chips, burgers, etc. An onsite pool is guaranteed to keep you cool during those hot summer days. The park has free Wifi as well. Must be able to work Sundays and Public Holidays.

The area has plenty to offer including day trips to Lady Musgrave which has some of the best snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef. The park has a trail through the bush directly to the beach. Have a go at Agnes Water main beach (4 km), the last surf beach on the east coast! Every second weekend, there is a market 100 m down the road to grab all your fruit and veg needs! On the off week, there is a fruit and veg stand right here at the park. The Estuary at 1770 (1.25 km) provides a great spot for fishing, kayaking, and stand up paddle boarding. The local tavern provides a courtesy bus on the weekends for you to enjoy a night out with other backpackers in town. What are you waiting for!?
