For those with beekeeping experience - a leadership role which will have some management and decision making responsibilities. Duties will include all aspects of hive management, Queen rearing for hive-splitting or re-queening, transportation of hives, honey extraction, hive construction and maintenance. Previous experience in commercial beekeeping, or a similar role that requires knowledge and use of modern beekeeping practices skills is a must.

For those with carpentry experience - you will use your carpentry skills to help with putting together beehives, frames and pallets along with helping with all aspects of beekeeping - honey collecting and extraction (including physically moving honey boxes up to 30kg), hive maintenance and moving hives.

Able to work flexible hours, in varying conditions, including outdoors and away from home (if required). Ideally hold a truck and/or forklift licence.

We also run a commercial beef operation so there will be times when you will help with cattle work. Flexibility and hard working are a must!!
