Restaurant Manager - Sponsorship Available

Pialligo Estate is a spectacular venue just 10 minutes from the Canberra CBD. The Estate is set on 55 acres and a beautiful and unique place to work.

The Garden Pavilions at Pialligo Estate are oriented to provide magnificent views of the Estate's Vineyards, Olive Grove and Canberra's skyline featuring Parliament House and Black Mountain Tower. The Garden Pavilions are designed to be enjoyed year round in climate controlled comfort and are open for a la carte and price fixe dining. They feature a beautiful fresh menu that showcases seasonal produce from the gardens and other locally sourced products.

We are seeking a talented manager to run the Pavilions, ensure a smooth running service and cultivate customers. The Pavilions are very busy with dining, functions and events. They are open for Lunch and Dinner toward the end of the week so this is a full-time role which is weighted more towards weekends. We will also soon be launching 'Market Grill' which is a 'restaurant within the restaurant' and 'Pialligo Fields' which will be a one of a kind outdoor bar experience like no other.

There will be additional outlets added to the business over time, so there is great capacity for promotion with the role.

About the role
The successful candidate will be required to;

Run the day to day service of the Pavilions;
Work closely with the Service Manager and Executive Chef;
Manage and exceed customer expectations;
Supervise and develop a team of enthusiastic staff;
Liaise with the reservations manager;
Manage the set up of the shift;
Manage the turning of tables;
Manage various functions and events.
