Front Office Receptionist / Restaurant Supervisor

We are seeking a Front Office Receptionist / Restaurant Supervisor for our 46-room motel and 80-seater restaurant.

This role is a unique mix of property management for a hotel front office and supervisory restaurant duties with a focus on customer service, leadership and administration.

This is a casual late afternoon/evening role over a Monday to Saturday period offering a minimum of 20 hours per week.

The job involves reservations, check-in and reception functions related to guests of the motel, together with assisting in management & administrative functions.

Ideally, you will

have experience in the areas of hotel reservations, check-ins and customer service in the accommodation industry;

be an effective communicator, able to deal with people at all levels with professionalism, courtesy, tact and understanding.

Experience greeting and seating customers.

Experience communicating the menus (Food & Coffee) to customers in detail, ensuring correct pairing and upselling on orders.

High level skills clearing tables and following up to provide an engaging table service experience.

Experience opening and closing shifts.

Ability in assisting with functions.

A Current RSA certificate.
