We Are Looking For A Live-in Au Pair

We are looking for a live-in au pair for our 4-year-old daughter who has special needs. You must be an enthusiastic, energetic and playful person.
You must have had 2 years of paid experience working with children.
Ideally you will have experience in ABA, alternatively have finished or be close to finishing your studies in psychology, speech therapy, occupational therapy, etc.

We are willing to offer generous pay for the right person.

About us
We are a nuclear family of 4: Mum, Dad, Daughter, and dog. We are all very involved in our daughter's progress and therapy, and we want to dedicate our full attention to spending quality time with her.

But life does get very busy with a family and household, so we would like to get some extra help with housekeeping and someone to train ABA with her every day. We want someone to help our daughter reach her goals and enjoy her life to the fullest.

Lots of on-going supervision and initial training will be provided to the right candidate. This will be a great opportunity to learn from our daughter's allied health team which includes speech-, occupational- and behavioral therapists.

We live in one of the most beautiful places in the world. In the middle between Sydney and Brisbane, Port Macquarie is just South of The Gold Coast, and the whole area is renowned for its long, sandy beaches, rainforest national park, spectacular sunrises and good surf.

Expectations
This role will be very structured.
It is important for us that the work/leisure divide is very clear, so you can be fully present whenever you are working with our daughter.

Your working hours will be pre-scheduled, and there will be plenty of time to explore our lovely town with the beach less than 1 minute down the road.

You will be living in our newly renovated guest room. It is separate from the house, and you will have your own bathroom, kitchen and living quarters.
It also includes flat screen tv with Netflix and unlimited Wi-Fi and ducted aircon.
