Job Description
Overlooking beautiful Rowes Bay and Magnetic Island, the Ocean View nursery concentrates on producing local provenance species for planting in areas around Townsville and North Queensland.
Come along and enjoy a wonderful day propagating native species for revegetation projects. Your efforts help preserve the local gene pool and improve biodiversity in the region.
Learn how to identify and process seeds; propagate from seed and other nursery skills.
Meet new people and have fun whilst doing something constructive that looks great on your resume.
The nursery runs every Friday from 8am to midday. Once registered for the project, meet us on site at the nursery located at 56 Cape Pallarenda Road, Rowes Bay QLD 4810.
