Come and experience the outback!
There is lots of wildlife and birds around. You will have good odds of seeing kangaroos, parrots and a perentie.
The horses and "poddys" (orphaned calves) are just lovely and you are welcome to spend as much time with them as you want. Also we got a lovely dog on the property that is super friendly and loves to come for a run!
Work includes feeding, watering, and caring for animals, irrigation & gardening, general household and cleaning duties. Accommodation for up to 6 in our staff quarters. Food provided to make your own meals. Mixed diet.
Since it is low season we are closed at the moment which means that you would be working a couple of hours a day, feeding animals, doing some gardening and looking after the place. This in exchange for food and accommodation.
For the right person there would be more work to do (such as fencing, carpentry work, maintenance etc.) and also a possibility to get paid.
