Vehicle Procurement Assistant
We have a part time / casual position available to assist us in procuring new vehicles for clients.
Our office is located in central Sydney and we would expect the successful applicant to work from here to learn the trade from our specialist procurement team. We are a small team of 3, with two people based in Sydney.
We specialise in locating and sourcing brand new vehicles, negotiating a fair and reasonable price, organising a prompt and timely delivery on behalf of our clients.
Main tasks of the job will include but are not limited to the following:
Conducting stock searches for vehicles (online, email and telephone)
Collating and sharing vehicle stock information with the team
Talking to car dealerships to gather information on vehicles and/or parts/accessories
Negotiating with car salespeople to achieve target price point
Processing paperwork with the dealership via email
Liaising with dealership staff to organise vehicle delivery
Taking delivery of brand new vehicles from the dealerships
Delivering brand new vehicles to specified locations around Sydney, Brisbane & Melbourne
Preparing the vehicles for delivery to our clients
You will need to be capable of managing your time effectively. The workload will be sporadic and on a case by case basis.
There would be potential for inter-state work from time to time, in which case, we would fund and organise all travel.
We will supply a phone and laptop for use in the office only.
Preferably Full Australian Drivers License (Or photo ID) NSW/QLD preferred.
