We are seeking a large team of Labourers and Forklift Operators for Event and Exhibition Set Up/Pack up works in Melbourne.
No two days are the same in the events industry!
Work is mostly in Melbourne City venues (Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Center) and consists of loading and unloading trucks by hand and by forklifts as well as setting up of flooring, exhibition stands, furniture placement and spotting for forklifts. Forklift drivers must be confident and skilled at loading and unloading awkward/over-sized freight. Shifts can be any time of the day and you will need to be available on weekends as well.
YOU MUST BE RELIABLE AND PUNCTUAL - AVAILABLE MOST DAYS/TIMES
Your main duties will include but will not be limited to;
Event bump in/bump out
Manual handling (upto 25kgs)
Loading/unloading trucks & containers
Assembly work
General cleaning
Heavy lifting
To be considered for these roles, you MUST have:-
Working rights for Australia
Must have Construction Industry Card (White/Blue/Red)
High-vis and Steel Capped boots
Have 2 x work related references that will be verified
All relevant tickets / licenses
Adhere to safety at all times with excellent attendance
This is casual but consistent work which offers a variety of tasks and locations.
Award wages, variety of work - never gets boring!
