Job Description

We have 4 positions available that are volunteer that count for 88 days regional work, Free food and accommodation, hope you will come join us and volunteer, with incentives for those that show they can undertake all the tasks, the work is not difficult, however, it is physical as you are outdoors. The work is rewarding as you can see the results and the appreciation from the farmers. We offer volunteers a unique experience living with our family on our farm, in the beautiful Oberne Valley. We are currently erecting new fencing on farms impacted by the recent bushfires, this volunteering counts towards visa requirements for regional work and qualifies for visa 2nd year. This is very rewarding work and in a beautiful location. We like to work together as a team. We would welcome you to join our family and work alongside us on our sheep and cattle farm, and see first hand what is required to work or volunteer on a farm in rural Australia. We are located near Tumbarumba., NSW.
You will have the opportunity to learn new skills, see our local area. We will write you a letter stating your skills you have learnt whilst on the farm, lamb marking, shearing, Sheep/cattle mustering. We are happy to chat to future employers and give a verbal/written reference. You would need to have suitable work boots, hat, sunglasses, long work pants and we will provide a hi viz shirt. We are about to farewell our couple from the Sardinia, so we can take up-to 4 volunteers.

Rural Fencing, Contracting and farming. We are a small farm fencing business and we are currently undertaking a huge task of fencing farms impacted by the recent bushfires. We also operate a sheep and cattle property. We are looking to share our home and lifestyle with overseas backpackers. We will provide a positive experience sharing our home and provide food and accommodation and teach you some skills to help you gain employment in your travels with other farmers. We are located between Tumbarumba and Tarcutta which is halfway between Sydney & Melbourne. You will need a hat, work boots, trousers/long jeans, sunglasses. a Hi Viz shirt, drink bottle, sunscreen. We provide food & accommodation free. Also wifi available.
