Rural Fencing, Contracting and farming. We are a small farm fencing business and we are currently undertaking a huge task of fencing farms impacted by the recent bushfires. We also operate a sheep and cattle property. We are looking to share our home and lifestyle with overseas backpackers. We will provide a positive experience sharing our home and provide food and accommodation and teach you some skills to help you gain employment in your travels with other farmers. We are located between Tumbarumba and Tarcutta which is halfway between Sydney & Melbourne. We are trying to clarify if this work will count for volunteer work and visa requirements, but these changes are only new, and possibly will only apply to BlazeAid, however, a positive outcome as you will have a range of new skills and a personal reference from us about your new skills. You will need a hat, work boots, trousers/long jeans, sunglasses. We provide a Hi Viz shirt, drink bottle, sunscreen, food & accommodation.
