Rare Role On Australia’s Great Ocean Road

Hi All. We are looking for an awesome, experienced fun loving female Au Pair to live with us in sunny Portland, which is in far South West Victoria. This is a rare opportunity to work for a minimum of 3-6 months and with a start date late April. We are located almost at the end of the Great Ocean Road, about 4.5 hours from Melbourne. We are a single Mum with 3 kids, 8yo Boy and 5 and 4 yo girls.

Mum, works 2- 3 days a week, Tues and Wednesday and Friday and has the children in daycare and school during working hours. However, she is seeking some help with the family needs, in mornings 7:30-9 and evenings 3:30 -7 getting kids up dressed ready for school, making lunches and sending us off. She also would love help with COOKING, preparing dinners, doing min homework and getting kids bathed ect after hours. I'm looking for someone to become part of our family with about 35 hours a week. In this role you will have a minimum of 4 days to yourself (Mon, Tues, Wed and Fri) but we still require help in the morning 1-2 hours, and evening 3-4 hours. There is the expectation of weekend work but this won’t be every weekend and will be flexible depending on hours you’ve worked.

Included in your packages is your accommodation, in a double room in a bungalow aside from the main house, food and bills (wifi, netflix ect), with queen bed. We will supply you with some pocket money, in exchange for this home help, $200 a week. Our house is right in town walking distance to the gym, pub, movies restaurants beach etc so there’s plenty to see and do.

Lastly, we have had four gorgeous Au Pairs staying with us in the past and they have become part of our family. We are all in touch and miss them a lot, but I guess this shows we understand how well how this can work for everyone. We are seeking only girls (sorry boys) and someone with a licence who can drive in Australia is preferable (not mandatory) but childcare experience is essential. We'd love to speak to anyone who comes from a teaching or early childhood care background at home. Finally, if you love to cook and are a foodie at heart we would really LOVE to hear from you.
