Job Description

WE ARE SEEKING A COMPETENT CHEF OR COOK TO INSTALL OUR NEW MENU IN OUR CONVENIENCE STORE.

THIS ROLE IS TO IMPLEMENT A SYSTEM IN WHICH OUR TAKE AWAY FOOD IS MOST COST EFFECTIVE AND OF THE BEST QUALITY AND CONSISTENCY.

THE JOB IS WITHOUT OTHER STAFF ASSISTING ALTHOUGH WORKING IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO CASHIERS/SERVERS.

THE SYSTEM DEVELOPED WILL BECOME RIGID AND TRANSFERABLE TO THE NEXT CHEF WITH A SIMPLE HAND OVER.

THE FOODS WE ARE MAKING ARE NOT COMPLEX BUT THE SKILL REQUIRED WILL BE IN APPLYING A MENU TO A ROSTERED WORK SCHEDULE AND STRICT BUDGET WHILE MAINTAINING HIGH STANDARD FULL AND FRESH DISPLAYS OF TAKE AWAY FOOD.

HEALTH AND HYGIENE PRACTICES WILL BE PART OF DEVELOPING THIS ROLE.

THERE WILL BE A LARGE EMPHASIS ON FRIED CHICKEN.

THIS IS A SIMPLE MENU BUT WE ARE HOPING TO DEVELOP IT FROM WHAT IT IS NOW TO ITS NEXT LEVEL AS A HIGH VOLUME GOOD QUALITY FOOD AND COST EFFECTIVE OPERATION.

IMMEDIATE START

THE POSITION WILL REQUIRE A MINIMUM COMMITMENT OF 6 MONTHS

ACCOMODATION AVAILABLE AT $150 PER WEEK SELF CONTAINED.
