Job Description
Nile Street Cafe is looking for a creative, passionate and hard-working chef.
The cafe is located in Orange, New South Wales. A food and wine destination and only 3.5 hours from Sydney, Orange is a beautiful country town with stunning natural surrounds and a rich history. It is also home to a university and a vibrant dining and night life - a perfect place from which to experience Australia.
We offer a competitive salary (negotiable after casual trial period) and friendly hours (approximately 40 hours per week, 5 days per week and only occasional nights).
You will need:
- To be passionate about food, creative and willing to contribute to the development of menus
- Hard-working and able to consistently maintain high standards in terms of food preparation, cleaning and OH&S
- To be a team player, who can calmly work in high pressure situations
- Have the required visa and rights to work in Australia

We have 3 distinct areas, the cafe, a covered garden area and an open courtyard to make the most of the Orange's beautiful sunny days.
