I need some help with my dogs, animals and farm work. I have 2 English back packers atm and they are going back to England in a few weeks time.
We are looking for one or two backpackers that are motivated and are not scared to get their hands dirty. Creating an amazing environment for all our animals; from dogs and puppies to chickens and cows. We work 7 days a week looking after all our animals and a passion for dogs is a must as our lives revolve around them! Lots of our time goes into feeding, cleaning, and training the dogs and raising our puppies, so if working with dogs makes you nervous then this isn’t the job for you.
Throughout the week we carry out a range of jobs such as: caring for our animals, gardening, fencing, rockwork, painting, building and cleaning so there is a lot to learn but a lot of benefits to the new skills!
We are located in country WA about 2.5 hours from Perth on the way to Albany with good transport links (Trans WA).
We are looking for someone who can start immediately and can stay for a minimum of 4 weeks. Due to Covid-19 we cannot accept anybody that is not already in WA or has not been in WA for longer than a month. Unfortunately, due to severe asthma we cannot take any smokers.
What is included? All food and accommodation is included. We feed you well and the accommodation is within the family home.
This is a voluntary position no money payment. This job does NOT count towards your second-year visa but does offer a once in a lifetime experience working in rural Australia with some really great animals.
If you think this job could be for you,
please do not hesitate to give me a call on 0409 103 166 (Liz)
