Live In Female Au Pair For 2 Boys (8 & 10) Mid July Start

We are looking for a non-smoker, English speaking female live-in au pair.

Essential hours (other hours flexible):
Monday 7-9am
Tuesday 7-9 and 3:30-5:30
Wednesday 7-9am
Thursday 7-9 and 3:30-5:30
Friday 7-9am

*other duties are flexible in terms of timing. Occasional babysitting, usually Thursday nights.

We are an experienced host family having hosted for nearly a decade. Happy to provide references from previous au pairs.

We have two boys and two guinea pigs who could use your help until just before Christmas. We’ve trained the guinea pigs to whistle… though we wish we hadn’t now.

20 hours work in exchange for food and a place to stay, wifi, bills and $130 pocket money per week.

Both kids are at school. So this is really a pick up, drop off job with help with homework (reading and spelling) required. Some flexibility needed. Ollie plays cello and piano, Jarrah plays violin. Ollie bounces when he’s excited. Jarrah is incredibly empathetic. They love our au pairs and there’s lots of tears all around when they leave.

Cooking 2 x week and cleaning (vacuuming twice a week, cleaning the bathroom/kitchen and general tidying)

You’d have your own large room on a separate floor to the kids and us with walk through wardrobe and an ensuite.

We’re close to public transport – easy walk to the bus, short trip to the station, 30 minutes to the city. Not far from Monash University.

Only two evening finished by 5:30pm most of the time. Morning duties finished by 9am. Free weekends. Happy to support you finding other work or studying as long as it doesn’t interfere with essential pick up/drop off.
