We are Contracting Company is looking for staff for our client (the farmers) for Grape Farm in Emerald QLD. There are 4 grape farms in Emerald QLD.

Info about the Work andPay

# Work:


Cutting, pulling out canes, pruning and rolling on canes to wires (this season)

Days of Work: Wednesday to Tuesday

Working times: 6:30 AM to 04:00 PM


Not required but you will be instructed in the correct technique of using pruning tools and other aspects of vine pruning

Season Starting

Starting from 02 June until 2nd week of July.

After that, there would be 'break times' for three / four weeks. Then you can work again until January next year

# Pay:


Work mainly paid on piece work rates (i.e. the more vines you prune, the more you get paid).

Ø Rolling$0.14 per branch /normally eight branches of each vine

Average per week: It can be $400 or $1500

Pay day

· Payday is every Friday

· Payslip is sent via email

· Money is transferred into your nominated bank account

Tax: Tax will be withheld from your pay

Superannuation: If you are an eligible employee, we will pay.

No Accommodation is available in the farm so you must find your own - perhaps you can try caravan park or tourist park or
