Please apply if you are a) a woman, b) between 164 and 170 cm (for personal care and transfer reasons), c) live no more than 30 minutes by public transport to the CBD, d) are available for 6 months minimum, and d) can work at least 20 hours a week.
I use a wheelchair due to the disability of quadriplegia. You will assist me with personal care such as showering, toileting, dressing, manual transfers and light household duties. Full training (paid) is given on the job.
Pay is $31 per hour (+ super) and no rate changes occur. Pay increases occur over time and work performance. You will be on a renewable contract.
You will be working AM and PM shifts over 4 to 5 days each week. You will work every second weekend but have two consecutive days off that week.
AM shifts begin at 6:00 and last approx 3-4 hours. PM shifts are on call and last approx 2 hours in the evening (not overnight). I have one other employee who works the other days/shifts.
