Farm Hand - Paid Position - Free Accomodation - Volunteer Positions Available For People With No Exp

We are an organic focused off grid self sufficient farm at the base of the Gibraltar Ranges, running cattle on 5000 acres of lush green mountain pastures. We are currently growing Australia’s largest crop of organic Turmeric. We are currently planting organic apple, citrus, avocado and mangoes orchards. We have just started our new organic zucchini venture and need labourers to assist in planting seedlings and ground preparation of bed and rows for planting. I going work with harvest and maintenance of crop.

We have first class facilities for all guests and staff, with a large amenity block and cabins and caravans for accomodation. We have a Large communal deck and a huge communal kitchen.
Our farm runs along kilometres of natural creeks fed by hundreds of fresh pure water springs that leads into the mighty man river. The house and accomodation facilities are fed by these water springs.

We are a family owned and operated farm with Christian roots.

We are looking for experienced Farm hands Who have used tractors and excavators. But machinery experience not essential. Paid position for experienced workers.

We are also looking for non experienced Backpackers who can volunteer and gain experience.

Experienced paid staff receive 25$ per hour casual basis and free accomodation. 40 hrs minimum required. Pay rate is based on accomodation being free.

Volunteer staff receive free accomodation and food. Working 30 hours per week over 4days only.

Duties:
1. Planting seedlings, ground preparation, weed control, organic fertilising and bed forming.

2, Farm maintenance- Odd jobs around the farm such as fencing and tractor work, feeding animals and attending to horses.

Come and spend some time on our farm and experience the country paradise that Australia has to offer.
Learn new skills and help us become a stronger off grid organic farm.
