Become A Nanny/au Pair For A Fun Adventurous Family

We are an open-minded, active, adventurous and laidback family of 4 (5 if you include our dog!).

We are looking for our next au pair to become part of our family. Happy for live in or live out roles.

You would be looking after our two affectionate and fun girls Zoe (8yrs) and Mia (4yrs). We have had 4 fantastic au pairs who we have loved and we would be looking for you to become our fifth!

We are looking for an au pair that would like to join us as part of our family and not just a job. We ideally would look for someone reliable, tidy, attentive and patient with our girls. Being active would be a bonus because being active and getting outside is an important part of how we live! You must also love dogs because our dog Nala is very much part of our family!

We are active people and spend alot of our time rock climbing, walking the dog, camping, mountain biking and hiking. We live a healthy lifestyle and love sitting down to a good home cooked meal with the family.
Tim and Tara are doctors so our shifts can be variable- but this means its more likely you will get a few days off in a row to explore!

In return we would love to show you our part of Australia. In the past this has meant taking our au pairs rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, canyoning and beach camping to name a few things! We've even had the opportunity to take our au pairs on a few working holidays!


We live in Canberra. This is the capital of Australia but really like a big country/ rural town. We actually placed at no. 3 for Lonely Planets top 10 cities to visit in 2018! . Canberra has a great au pair network with many nationalities based here. There are great cafes, hiking, museums and bars. It also has great parks, river beaches, pools etc to visit with the children. The Canberra climate is seasonal; it gets cold in winter, hot in the summer. Canberra is an easy commute to lots of great places to explore- Sydney (3hrs) , Blue Mountains (3hrs), the snow. And some of the best beaches in Australia are only a 2hr drive. We love to travel and explore our beautiful country and love having our au pairs join us on our adventures!

We have a spare car (manual) which generally you will have access to on your days off and for mini-breaks.
