Hi all, Roy is my name and the owner of QFMT we are the largest labour provider in Queensland. I know some strawberry farms are scaling down there work but we have at least 8 solid weeks of picking to go. We are currently on high season and working 7 days a week with a rotation day off for all men’s era of our team. All piece rate and currently paying 80c a kg but that does fluctuate.
What will you earn? Based on current working week an average picker will warm around 700 Amd our top pickers are earning over 3000 a week. It’s not easy work so don’t think you will come out here and earn that money straight away, my policy is to be honest and it does take up to a week to get used to the picking conditions but after that you will start to earn good money.
The bonus with us is that when the season finishes we can slot you straight into a hourly job on either a zucchini or lettuce farm or straight into our raspberry and blackberry organisation so we have work 12 months of the year in Brisbane .
We are a licensed company and you are welcome to check us out on the Australia government website our licence number is LHL-03325-M4V3P
Payslips provides every Thursday via email and wages paid every Friday into your nominated account, all paperwork filled out is registered And sent to you as a copy for when you apply for your 2nd and 3rd years visa .
What is the difference between us and other labour providers ?
We work along side you on the farm, we don’t just dump you on a farm like most contractors do and don’t care, I do take the time to help anyone that works for me to try and get them into a position they can make good money and make the job enjoyable
