Volunteer Farm Work - 2nd Year Visa

Martins Ridge Farm Conjola, Wollongong

2nd Year Visa Eligible

Job Description

Visa Position Farm work - Martins Ridge Farm

Our 90 acre farm is located in Conjola on the picturesque south coast of NSW, just two and a half hours' drive south of Sydney. We are close to beaches and the towns of Milton and Ulladulla.

Over the Christmas period the area was heavily affect by bush fires. To help rebuild the area the Federal Government has made changes to the rules for working holiday makers to obtain an extension to their visa, they have included bush fire recovery as specified work for the 2nd and 3rd year visa, for providing support services or assistance to people living, working or volunteering in bush fire affected areas.

As a consequence we are seeking a volunteer (non paid) or couple to help with farm work and the processing of our produce – hours and days are flexible.

There is the possibility of modest “on farm” accommodation, provision of meals and some additional paid work.

Experience in food preparation would be highly regarded.

We are seeking a commitment until at least the end of January 2021.

If this is of interest to you please contact Ian Martin 0412 653 950 or

Postcode: 2539 (Conjola, Wollongong)
