Job Description

WE CAN SIGN 2ND & 3RD YEAR VISAS !
You need to join Wwoof as we are in the bush fire and flood zone.
This is volunteer work for food and accomodation.
You can look for paid work in the evenings and weekends in Byron bay or Brunswick heads.ie hospitality, cleaning.

We need 6x helpers to start beginning of January -Valentines day to help with the flower season. Cutting and packing flowers and cutting and bunching greenery.

You need to be strong and willing to get your hands dirty.
We also need help pruning and general maintenance,brush cutting, weeding & fertilising.

For 1 week to start to see if everyone is happy but preferably longer for the right applicants.
Can sign 2nd & 3rd year visa's.

You MUST understand and speak English,
We have been backpackers ourselves,I am from Manchester and my Hubby is from Belfast.
We want your experience with us to be FUN,
That's why a sense of humour is always good,
We are an easy going fun family and love having backpackers around us,and really do appreciate your help on the farm as its hard work just myself and my husband.

Your accomodation is a separate Cabin overlooking the Dam in a beautiful spot (see photo)
Friday night's it's turn into a party night as my Hubby DJ'S Ha! so much fun and laughter!!

Limited mobile reception, Telstra service the best!!Wifi at the house.

COME AND JOIN US on our beautiful 100 acre property,nestled in the Byron bay hinterland,just up in the hills behind the beaches 20mins away,
Short drive to Byron Bay 30mins or Gold coast 45mins,

Mt Warning national park is only 20mins away,if you love bush walking and want to climb the mountain,amazing views from up there,

Or just chill and relax in our own jungle!
Bush walking around the property to see the Aussie wildlife.

Walk up to the waterfall which is beautiful and pumping when we have loads of rain (adventurers only).

We often go for a swim at the local pub/pool 10mins away or jump into one our dams or waterholes to cool down.

We have a tree farm/nursery,
We grow ornamental trees, tropical flowers,rare palms etc.
We need help with the tropical flowers ie cutting and packing.

Also planting, mulching, brushcutting, weeding, propagating, fertilizing, clearing up the waterfalls,watering, and general farm care,

Visa hrs you must join Wwoof as we can sign visa as we are in the right post code for floods and bush fire relief.
Mon-Fri and weekends off but sign for 7xdays in return for food and accommodation and a great way to learn new things and enjoy the Aussie life style.We like to start early so finish early and you can enjoy your day

or if you need to get a paid job you also have the evenings and weekends to do so in the Byron area ie some of our other backpackers work in cafes, restaurants or have cleaning jobs.

You have the afternoons off to relax,go to the swimming hole,waterfalls, pool or for a surf at the local beach.
That's why a car is an advantage.
So you can go and explore to Byron bay or the Gold coast.


Groceries are provided to make your own breakfast and lunch,
Alcohol,cigarettes,sweets etc are at your own expense,local general store is 10mins to Burringbar,
Come and join the family between 7-8.30pm for dinner (vegetarian meals also can be arranged).(No vegans).

Also help with general chores around the house ie cleaning, cooking, washing up, laundry, gardening.

You must be good with children,
We have 2x boys Jai 17, Cody 15 1x cat 1xdog.
