Job Description
Glasshouse/crop/packing work available in Guyra Area (NSW) Casual on call and full time work is available at Tomato Glasshouses at Guyra, operated by Costa, Australia’s leading grower, packer and marketer of fresh fruit and vegetables.
The work available includes:
Crop work (caring for tomato plants)
Picking tomatoes
Packing tomatoes
Job Requirements
Successful candidates must:
Be available to work until March 2021.
Have access to reliable transport to and from the work site
Be physically fit with the ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
Be able to work in a warm and humid environment (crop and picking roles)
Have an understanding of basic English (written and spoken)
Work cooperatively and respectfully in a multicultural workforce
Have a strong focus and commitment to Occupational Health and Safety, Food Safety and Quality
Terms and Conditions
Current commencement pay rate:$24.43 per hour (Casual Level 1)
Shifts are typically 8 or 9.5 hours and are predominately worked between Monday and Friday.
