Hop Training and other farm duties.
Hop training involves winding the hop vines clockwise around a string in the field. When being taught how to train the hop bines onto the strings, employees are paid on an hourly rate according to the Horticulture Award 2010, $24.36/hour. Once you are competent, you will be paid on piece rates which means that you will be paid according to the number of plants you train around each string.
Weather permitting, work will commence on October 26th and will finish in late December 2020.
Local accommodation is available.
If you are unable to commit to the whole Hop Training season, please do not apply for this position.
As per www.immi.gov.au, casual employees who work full days (generally 6-8 hours each day) can count these days as specified work visa days.
IMPORTANT Due to the logistics of getting people into the fields to work and different areas and locations of farms, successful applicants will need their own car.
